Definitely reinstalling Office is much easier. It takes about 3 steps and 5 minutes. Exporting and importing everything from an identity can take a couple of days. Rules and schedules aren't scriptable: you have to take screenshots of them and remake them yourself. Everything else (except links) can be done by the scripts, in the right order. Still, I'd save this until last. Actually we seem to be going round and round with suggestions by people who may not have read earlier messages in the thread. Didn't you say that you had the same problems in other identities (even other users)? In that case, IT DOES NOT POINT TO DATAVASE CORRUPTION! You could not have every database, including new ones, corrupted. So forget all this. Never mind exporting and importing - not necessary and a waste of time. -- Paul Berkowitz MVP MacOffice Entourage FAQ Page: <http://www.entourage.mvps.org/faq/index.html> AppleScripts for Entourage: <http://macscripter.net/scriptbuilders/> PLEASE always state which version of Microsoft Office you are using - 2004, X or 2001.
