ello, Everyone!

Unfortunately, much the same way I couldn't find any setting in Universal
Access Preferences that had hijacked my Shift h, deleting this plist,
emptying trash, and restarting didn't bring it back, either.

Again: Only in Entourage is this an issue. Shift h works in all other
applications, including other Microsoft Office apps. Shift h does not work
in Entourage with a different keyboard. I've compacted database (2 hours),
rebuilt database (5 hours), Safe Booted, restarted multiple times. The lack
of Shift h remains. I can CAPS LOCK AND GET AN H JUST FINE (example of caps
lock, not shouting!). If I hold down Shift and h, the text cursor turns to
an arrow momentarily and then back to a text cursor as repeated cap h
appear. If I am in the To: field and try to type a Shift h, the field
deactivates as if I'd clicked out of it.

I've deleted Microsoft preferences, no luck. I can Shift h in a New User on
my Mac, or a new Identity in Entourage. I haven't deleted Office and started
over, as I need to do a bit of reading and find out what happens to the
customizations -- new/other templates -- I've got in Word. I also haven't
reinstalled my OS -- that seems like overkill to fix one key in one program.

Thanks for any other advice -- or for information on whether deleting and
reinstalling will or won't delete my Word templates.

Thanks,
Linda
