Failure to launch on Mac OS

I have Office 2004 on both an iMac G5 and an iBook G4 (these are both  
PPC, not Intel, machines).  Entourage simply won't launch.  It  
doesn't even get as far as the splash screen and crash: it just won't  
launch.  All the other apps work as normal.

I have OS 10.4.8 on both machines.
