Now THAT'S interesting. Console log says:
2007-12-05 13:32:16.017 Microsoft Entourage[282] CFLog (21): Cannot
find executable for CFBundle 0x32d1f0 </Library/Frameworks/
StuffIt.framework> (not loaded)
A missing executable would certainly screw things up. Also, Activity
Monitor (sorted by process id, to show the most recent process),
shows Entourage popping up with 0% CPU and disappearing.
I did have the Test Drive on, but I don't recall firing it up (I
already had Office 2004 and installed it).
Sounds like the re-install process is in order?

Sean,
I find Entourage pretty stable.
Question: Did you have the Microsoft Test Run on your computer
before you
installed Entourage? If so, did you uninstall that version? I
wonder if
there's an invisible file on your computer that is telling your
installed
copy that it's timed out, that the demo is over, that it's not
allowed to
run.
When you try to launch Entourage, what does your Console log say? Try
launching it, and have the window open so you can read the messages
that
come up, and tell us what it says there.
You might also try launching Activity Monitor (both Console and
Activity
Monitor are in your Utilities folder in your Applications folder)
and see if
any sort of "helper" app or daemon thingy show up while you're
trying to
launch Entourage.
peace,
Linda
