Cool. I haven't spent much time in that area, but I did spend a few
days in Temagami, just north of there a ways. I remember it being
quite dominated by conifers. Are there many deciduous trees in the
area around your cabin?
I actually live at about the same distance north latitude (between 45
and 46 north). The temperature has been dipping down below the
freezing point occasionally at night in the past few days.
