I've always wondered about the reflective metering systems in 35mm AF
cameras. Once I bought my Sekonic L508, I've found that my EOS3 has become
nothing more than a glorified light tight box that holds film. More often
than not, I take an incident reading and then set my camera to manual to
shoot.
Wouldn't it be cool if Canon built in an incident light meter to the camera?
They could build it into the corner of the camera, and even have it
removable so you can pull out the little meter, take an incident reading,
and the settings would be transfered to the camera via IR! Canon could they
say they have the most accurate metering available! (since incident is
generally omre accurate than reflective). Now all they have to do is think
of something so I don't loose the meter...
