Hi Vincente,

I think you are right.  The Canon EF-M camera does not have a TTL flash
sensor, and can only use manual flash features. If I remember correctly,
the EF-M hotshoe has only pins 1 and 5.

Of course, if I remember wrong, I hope someone here will correct me.

Then again, the only way to check is to grab a spare piece of film
leader and use it for hotshoe insulation.
