I usually shoot TTL in Program mode on my EOS, however, I can pick my
F-stop within bounds of shutterspeed being up to synch and down to hand held
limit. Since I've custom functioned my handheld limiting off, I can change
to an even smaller aperture with slow shutterspeed. And still use TTL of
course.
I don't know what you mean by 'Use an f2 lens and the flash will pick
f2' - my camera mode will depend on what's picked, at least as a default.
Are you saying the flash causes the camera to choose a wide open aperture as
a default? Are you in Tv mode? Please explain.
