I can see where might be real professional photographers, like paparazzi,
who can justify the cost of such a lens in their work, and also publishers
who can buy one and lend them out. If you consider the cost of a taxicab
and medallion for a cabby, or the cost of an eighteen wheeler for a truck
driver, it might be a worthwhile investment for a photojournalist to give
him the edge over the competition.
It would be interesting to know the sales figures for these lenses.

One photography of an important personage in a delicate situation may value
more of the cost of this lens. I am not speaking of free lancers but members
of specialized yellow press.I do not know this by myself I'm not interested
at all but I hear my family women conversations. I understand that a normal
PJ cannot afford it, nor I do. Have you ever asked yourself who's buying
this lens and the very expensive Nikon extreme Nikon fisheye like 6mm f:2,8?
Kind regards and happy new year.
