Hmm, sounds like a shutter problem. You'd better test it without film to see
if it's working right. You should be able to check it at all speeds and
ensure it's opening. I can't think of any other way there would be nothing
on the film.
On second thought, you'd better have the camera serviced. Or replaced, since
it's so new.
