Thanks all for the replies!

It's not my intention to bring *only* the rented 70-200f2.8, but bring it
*along* with the rest of the kit (even the extension tubes... you never know!
I don't care looking like a cammel in a suit ;-)

I decided to rent it (if my victim agrees, of course) They will be hiring a pro,
so the pressure will be much less. I just hope there will be no confrontation.
I'm quite friendly with my fellow photographers, but that's sometimes not
reciprocal. In the wedding on my brother-in-law, the "pro" (notice the quotes)
was a girl that was still following photo school (just as I was at that
moment). I did offer my help but I just got some rejection. (She was even
using Kodak Gold 100 for a wedding on a sunny day !!!) The only "pro"-ness she
had was the $$$bill afterwards. ;-) ;-)

Now to get back on topic... on of the reasons I want the 70-200f2.8 if to take
this picture I've in my mind... in the church banks, a emotive face isolated
from the rest of the row by shallow DOF. I tried it last time with the
70-300... I got the face, the emotions a confusing fore-&-background and
on-camera blur :-( :-( I'd like to try one more time !!

Thanks again,

Gerard.
