I have had my Elan IIe for about 2 years, purely amateur use. I'm starting
in on flash photography, mostly for portraits, but other subject as well.
Eventually I would like to try the flash together with a slave, again for
portraits. The manuals talk about the 200E, 380EX and 540EZ as likely
choices. The 380EX does not seem to be sold anywhere new, so I wonder if it
is discontinued. The 200E seems to be pretty limited. But now I read on
the list that the 540EZ does not work well with slaves. Any advice for the
newbie? Thanks in advance -- you folks are always very helpful.
