Kim,
I also have a 100-400 and have noticed that if I force the 100-400 a little
when it's mounted to my Elan 7E, I can see that it moves a little away from
the camera, especially at the bottom.
Is there spring tension holding the lens and camera tight together?
Have others noticed that?
