Dear list members,
I've bought the EOS30 body a couple of weeks ago and trying to use my
manual lens (Zenitar 16mm fisheye) on it. I was using the 'P' mode and let
the camera decide the shutter speed. The result was an approximate 2 stops
of underexposure for all the pictures taken at various situations.
While inspecting where the problem was, I've found that when the lens is
removed and with the camera body cap put on and viewfinder blocked i.e. no
incident light, the camera gives a shutter speed of 4 seconds (instead of
30 seconds with the exposure indicator blinking on the left hand side).
Same result on the 'M' mode.
This manual lens was used in my previous EOS300 body and there was no
problem and this EOS30 body also works fine with my EF28-135.
Grateful if anyone can give me some advice before I send it back for a
service check-up.
Thanks a lot.
Bill
