Hi Bob and all,
although I don't own an OCSC2 I am suspecting a communications problem
here. ;)
Looking (search for CASC2OC) at the B&H web-site I found a device which
I believe is what Bob has:

It doesn't look like it had any means to mount the remote end to any
kind of 'hot-shoe'.
Are you guys talking about the same device???
