The 1v does not include the power booster. You have to
buy it. Nevertheless, there might be a 1v HS which
would be a package that includes both the 1v and the
power booster.
The EOS 3 uses the same power booster as the 1v.
The power booster just allows you to get more frames
per second (fps). For the 1v with power booster it's
10 fps, if I remember correctly. A power booster
allows you to catch a sequence with a higher time
resolution.
