A good explantation, except for the pronunciation. 
Bokeh is a transliteration of the Japanese work formed
from the character Bo pronounced kind of like the 'o'
sound in floor (say it without the r sound), half way
between a long and short 'o' and the character Ke
(pronouned like the first two letters in 'kept'), not 'kay.'
