Have I mentioned that I have the 3 most wonderful kids in the world? I just
received a 28-135 IS lens for Mothers Day :) Too bad I didn't have it
yesterday, it would have gotten a good workout at my oldest son's
confirmation. This same son will be taking photography in school next year,
so maybe he had ulterior motives by giving me the new lens, so he could
"inherit" the 28-105 for use with my old Rebel G. Even so, I do need to thin
out my inventory a bit as I still have my first Tamron lenses, 28-80 and
75-100 zooms which were subsequently replaced with EOS 28-105 and 100-300,
and now the 28-135 IS and 100-400 IS L. I'm so excited! I do all the candid
and group photography for my kids' school yearbook, and the 28-135 IS will
be the perfect all-purpose lens to use around school. Also, we're taking our
first cruise this summer and I think it'll be a great travel lens.
Hope all the other mothers out there are having a great day, and I hope you
dads are helping your kids make a special day for mom.
Kim
