I'd say not a big deal. Actually the right answer is not 1.7, but 1.6:
sqrt(2)^sqrt(2)=1.63...So in every case all these numbers are approximations. 1
stop over 2 should be 2.7 (2.66). Think about the shutter speeds: 1/4, 1/8,
1/15!. 1/60,1/125! So in every case your pictures are ruined :)
