rent an IS to test next to my non IS and see which is best in my

How are you? You are thinking as I am. If the 70-200mm IS version is not as
sharp as the non-IS 70-200mm, why change? Hopefully Canon did a good job as
they did with the 30mm F2.8 L IS, but if they engineered it like the 300mm
F4L IS, forget it!
