Maybe a little. One theory is that the flexibility your musculature
when hand-holding actually does a better job of absorbing mirror-slap
vibration than a tripod. So MLU's effectiveness may be more strictly
linked to ameliorating tripod rigidity than any "objective" vibration
reduction, if such a thing can be said to exist.
