As most of us do? How do _you_ know what most of us use? I for one use "ALL" focussing-points on my EOS 3 (I don't use all 45, but I use 11 instead). Maybe that's because the slowest lenses I have are f/2.8s, but I find 11-point ECF to be more practical than center-point AF... As a tip to the original poster, be on the lookout for _second hand_ EOS optics. I have two itms in my bag that I have bought new: the EOS 3 body and a 50/1.4. I have the 200/2.8L (gen.1) and the (discontinued) 20-35/2.8L too, both bought second hand at less than half the price of the same lenses new, and at appx. the same price as equivalent consumer-grade lenses.
