My 1v, all the sudden stopped working and every time i tuned it on, it
showed an empty battery symbol in the lcd, make a noise and then die. I took
it in an authorized canon server center (third party), they fixed it under
warranty. i got it back last week, and after one roll it acted the same, i
took in to the same place and asked to speak to the technician who fixed it,
trying to find what he fixed. he told me the drive assembly was repaired but
this time it looks like the shutter needs service, to me (it sounded and
acted just as the first time, it stopped), so after a bid of questioning
them trying to figure why he made his diagnoses, he said, you might want
send it to canon directly!! i walked out of the shop with a sick camera in
hand. another day....i just tried the camera before i left to the canon
service center and all the sudden is working fine!! If i take it in, they
will probably do a routine check and say is all fine, if i start using it, i
am afraid it is going to stop in the middle of roll and i will be very
upset. i don't know what to do? Has this happened to anyone?
