Thanks, Glen and all the others who replied.

I have taken a look at Genuine Fractals Pro, and I can see its 
usefulness in certain situations, particularly if you already 
have a very large file, and want to work with it in a smaller, 
more manageable size, then be able to take it back up to the 
original size.  Unless I am mistaken, it cannot enlarge a 
photograph that starts off at 20x30 inches at 72dpi, to 24 x , 
say, 16 inches, at 200dpi.  The information is just not there to 
show. 

If I am mistaken, please someone put me right on that.

I have come to the conclusion that, as most of the replies 
indicated and I suspected, it is just not possible to do this 
with this camera, at least not in a practical way.

It did seem to me, though, that, just as with a very good 
quality 35mm shot you can take it up to that sort of 
enlargement, it should have been possible to do the same 
thing with digital.  Or even more possible. Of course a larger 
format camera will give a better quality.

Any further thoughts?
