I know that the DOF button has little to do with DEP mode.
However it seems that pressing the DOF button makes DEP shiftable
with some EOS cameras. Not so with 1V.
Yesterday I went a little further. After I had my 2 DEP points
I put the lens im MF mode. Result: the f-stop is not shiftable.
There seems to be no way to make it move.

So with the EOS 600 when I want a little more or less DOF than
the camera suggests I turn the dial, with the 1V pro body I have
to remember the f-stop, put the lens in MF mode, switch to AV
and dial in a modification of the remembered f-stop.
What a waste of time.
