I would not trust him. Past has shown that information usually does not leak
out from Canon that easily. This is even more true for a regular dealer no
matter how long he is in that business.

Also I do not believe that you are going to see a Foveon sensor in a
high-end digital camera soon. The Sigma SD9 was announced quite some time
ago but still doesn't seem to be available. Also the sensor is a bit small,
a little bit smaller then the D30s. Finally, I would think that the sensor
has quite some problems like noise, color seperation, sensitivity, etc, etc.
Not something you want to put into an expensive digital SLR.
