It should be no inconvenience to the other passengers if the screeners
are doing their jobs, and you are ready. I have the film out of my bag
and ready to hand to the screener when I get to the station. Unless you
run into the jerk I ran into in Las Vegas, there will be no
inconvenience to anyone but you. Then too, knowing my film has not been
exposed to x-rays, make this no inconvenience to me.
One more point, you may be pulled over for shoe inspection so having
film hand checked is no biggie.
