Hmmm. I also have just traded in a Minolta 7 and am expecting an EOS 3 to arrive 
shortly. And I was hoping to use the IS abilities of the 28-135 in low light! It will 
be somewhat of a disappointment if I find I can't do this after all. 

Can you describe the light levels you had a problem with? What lens were you using on 
the Minolta/s? Can you recall what ISO, shutter speed and aperture you had set while 
you were experiencing this problem?
