I don't know about "many" but I'll cop to "some." In a multicultural, multi-ethnic world that understands TV shows like Saturday Night Live, old movies like Airplane! and new ones like Barbershop, I doubt if "many" would share your opinion. I am African American and I did indeed make a joke out of a notion rooted in black stereotypes.
But you are right to take me to task. I am guilty of an inappropriate post. But not because it was racist.
