Ignorance is often born from a non enquiring mind and stupidity we are just
born with.

Parfocal means that zooming does not affect the point that is focused.

In other words, if focus is achieved at 200mm and the lens then zoomed to
70mm, no refocusing is necessary.

Varifocal means refocusing is necessary.

I don't now what efffect this has on optical performance.

Just showing my ignorance :�)
