I had a semi-related problem with my Sigma 28/1.8 II Aspherical. I didn't use the lens for a month or two, and when I used it again, the autofocus refused to operate. It worked fine in manual focus, but it was jammed in AF. Figuring it might need loosening, I switched it to manual focus and worked the focus ring quickly back and forth about 100 times, then tried the AF again. Sure enough, working the focus ring loosened up the mechanism and the autofocus worked after that. Not a big deal, but it was kind of scary since I like that lens... --Alex * **** ******* *********************************************************** * For list instructions, including unsubscribe, see: * http://www.a1.nl/phomepag/markerink/eos_list.htm ***********************************************************
