In a stressy/noisy environment, the only way to prevent this is
either experience & almost instinctive safety procedures (, or
holding the body in your hand, so that you can *feel* the rewind-
motor operating....
Also, one gets much more respect for open doors when operating Kodak
HIE infrared (darkloading)....the mental threshold to open that door
is very high, even with normal films....;))
PS: *real* amateurs get bodies that expose the film in reverse,
winding it back into the cartridge with each shot....;))
Actually, it's baffling why Canon didn't make *this* 'feature'
subject to a CF or SCF on the higher grade bodies....
(of course, you probably still wouldn't have selected it, as you were
no such amateur, right?....;))
