My EOS 10 once screwed up and didn't rewind the roll all the way. After that I always pushed the button to rewind again :-) Now my EOS 55 is so quiet, I can't tell sometimes when the roll is finished and rewound. I just hope it keeps rewinding so well. I was surprised only a few shots were lost. I'm surprised you lost the whole roll. Just how slow does your camera rewind? Let's face it, rewinding should have more importance placed on it.
