True.  For away trips with the car,
Canon also makes a car charge
adapter.

In November I took my D60,  one 1GB
microdrive and two batteries (no
charger) along for a 12 day trip.
The batteries lasted about 9 to
10 days.  And the microdrive was
full at the same time.

The batteries would have lasted
longer if I had used flash memory
instead of a microdrive.  I checked
the specs of MD and CF a couple
years ago,  and a microdrive needs
approx. 5 times the energy used
by flash memory.
