That's pretty good - roughly how many pictures
would that be (or, which format were you using)?

In raw format 1GB would hold some 170 pictures,
about the equivalent of five rolls of film;
I'd need more than one for a week-long trip,
even if some can be discarded on the spot.

And the 10D should use less power than the D60...
perhaps batteries would not be a big problem
any more. If only they were available here at
even close to that US$1500 they're being advertized 
for in the US...
