Alex,

I MHO the point Tim was making is that you can really get wrapped up 
taking photos of newspapers, brick walls, test targets, etc. and lose a 
lot of great photos of people, scenics, sports, etc........

I have the attitude that I bought my EOS gear to shoot people and races, 
not test targets.  I'm pretty happy with my stuff.
