I sent my 10D back to Canon several months ago for them to fix the focus--it
was focusing consistently behind the subject at all ranges.  The said they
fixed it, but it still does the same thing and it's very annoying.  To
compensate now, I wait for focus lock, then give the focus ring a slight
tweak clockwise and hope for the best.
