Yes, I sent it in with my 24-70 2.8 and with a CD with raw and jpeg images
of my focus test and explaining how my test were done. I received a notice
from Canon after I sent it in that I'd have it back in 10 days. After two
more weeks, I called and it seemed that the 10D focus issue was a standard
problem, so I got my expectations up that it would be fixed. When I got it
back, I ran my focus test again and got the same results as before (aft
focus). I was then convinced that I was just being picky and decided to
live with it. However, when using it in the field, I still would get shot
where the focus was aft. That's when I started consistently stopping down,
boosting my ISO, and tweaking the focus forward after focus lock. I've read
on several website about the focus issue with the 10D and I'm not alone. I
usually don't bring it up on this newsgroup because it's a known issue with
the 10D, but I couldn't let newcomers who've been reading this thread not
know about the focus problems some of us have had with the 10D.
