Has anyone used a Canon 100-400 lens and a Canon 2x II Extender EF - (Autofocus)? Is it worth to buy?

No autofocus with any body. The 1.4x works with some bodies, and is also acceptable (for some stuff, to my taste) optically. I've tried the 2x with manual focussing, but couldn't get anything sharp enough. I haven't yet found a lens that works really well with the 2x.
