I've used it with these lenses, EF 70-200 2.8L (very good), EF 70-200 2.8L IS (very good +), EF 135 2L (very good), EF 200 1.8L (excellent), EF 200 2.8L (very good), EF 300 4L (very good), EF 300 4L IS (good), EF 300 2.8L (excellent), EF 300 2.8L IS (excellent), and EF 400 2.8L (very good+). All of the lenses I've used the EF 2X with show varying degrees of softening but all of them work pretty well and produce very useable image quality if I didn't blow the shot. All of these lenses used with the EF 1.4X show much better results than with the EF 2X.
