I have both. I'm selling the 2X and buying a Kenko 1.5x. I have managed to get a few decently sharp photos with it, but it's not easy. The biggest problem is it's 1280mm eqiv. And it's tough focusing too, it's a bit dark. So I'd not recommend this. I tested my Kenko MC7 2x against it, and was surprised that there's not that much difference. BTW, No AF with any Canon extender, but with a Kenko 1.5x I can get AF in decent light. -- Need a brighter headlight the safe way?
