Hello.
I'm considering buying a secondhand D30 to give digital SLRs a try, and after reading lots of info I'm aware that many users have complained about its AF.
Since I own an EOS 5 (A2E in the States), I wonder if any of you can comment on how their respective AF performances compare.
The two subjects that I like to shoot and that might pose a problem: children and concerts.
My lenses:
Canon EF 28-135mm f/3.5-5.6 IS USM Canon EF 200mm f/2.8 USM Canon EF 200mm f/2 USM Canon EF 50mm f/1.8
The alternatives and why I've discarded them:
10D - Much better AF and almost everything else, but I don't want to spend that much money now; I'd rather wait to see if Canon comes out with a digital equivalent of the EOS 3.
D60 - Double the pixels, but same problems and limitations as the D30 and more money.
Thanks in advance.
