On 21/5/2004 I said:

D60 - Double the pixels, but same problems and limitations as the D30 and more money.

I stand corrected.

While going again over the reviews of the D30 and D60 I noticed this that I had somehow missed before (quoted from <http://www.steves-digicams.com/2002_reviews/d60_pg5.html>):

Canon has upgraded and improved the D30's feature set with: [...]

* The D60's auto focusing system is three times more sensitive in low light than the EOS D30's (EV 0.5 vs. EV 2.0).

So, AF speed in a D60 might be as slow or as fast as in a D30, but it is more sensitive in low light; this will probably make me change my decission and look for a D60.

Anyway, I'd still like someboy to comment on the relative speed of the AF system in a D30/D60 vs the one in an EOS 5 (A2E).

Thanks in advance.
