Btw, I wonder whether this includes AF-confirmation (assuming subject 
being in focus, no AF-adjustment needed, IOW 'optimal scenario'), or 
not.
 
Never felt a difference between analog EOS 1 and DCS3 (which is based 
on the 1n), while it would be odd if any of them would have a larger 
time lag than the EOS 5/A2e.

Just checked again, analog 1 with BP-1 (hence same electromechanical 
sequence) next to DCS 3 (=1n)....no audible difference.
