Have you seen how many Canons 1Ds's you can find on ebay for very very low prices ? It's always sellers with1-2 day old accounts, zero ratings, minimal information, no Paypal (Paypal verfies your physical/postal address before giving you an account).
You must be really stupid to fall for it. If you get to know his wherabouts, you can propose to meet him, exam the camera and pay him cash. In that case the only catch would be the camera to be stolen - but that's another thing. > though. Help... talk me out of it! :-) > Steve Steve, if you NEED a 1Ds, your agency/company etc will either pay for it, or you'll be earning much money as a photographer to buy it yourself at a normal shop price. If you want it just because it's top of the range then a) join the club and b) tough luck. Since you have $1900 (which you're willing to give as present to a half-clever crook) you can either buy a 10D or on some lenses. Then you can go out and improve your photography to be able to earn that 1Ds :) Konstantinos * **** ******* *********************************************************** * For list instructions, including unsubscribe, see: * http://www.a1.nl/phomepag/markerink/eos_list.htm ***********************************************************
