I've checked Amazon prices: 1 Ds - 7,499.99 $ (1,500 $ off) 1 D MkII - 4,499.99 $ 10 D - 1,299 $ Maybe it was just a mistake.

They have Adorama as their supplier on this one now. Before there were two "Used & New" sellers. One was Adorama and the other was a first time seller names "dfsowl". I wrote to Amazon and informed them that they might want to look into a first time seller, selling a $7500 piece of equipment for $1900. They seemed to have cleared up the possible scam. Better response than Ebay ever had...
