The 24-70 L is a superb lens and a great all-rounder. I use it regularly
on a 1Dm2 and even with the slightly smaller chip, the range of focal
length is fine for me. I shoot a lot of people and it's my first choice.
It is relatively big and heavy but I wouldn't part with it.
