Never might the ruggedness issue, the use of the much more common BP-511 battery, the QuickControl dial, etc..
350D also has 7-point AF vs 20D 9--point, not sure about the joystick FP selector, which is an attractive feature of the 20D. At least for someone who doesn't have one yet. I wonder from owners how much you use that feature?
