I apologize if this is a "beat to death" question. I only take occasional close up shots. I am not ready to buy a proper macro lens and intend to use either Canon 500D close up filter or EF25 II extension tube on my 70-200/2.8 (non-IS). All I need is a quick summary of pros and cons or a pointer to a link with such information.
