I apologize for this off topic subject but I am relying on the advice of our well traveled photographers on the list.
I am going to France for a vacation trip. I would like to shoot some night scenes in Paris along the Seine and so on. I am thinking of bringing a tripod along. So here is the question: would I put that inside the luggage or strap it on the camera backpack (I have a Lowepro Raven? Which is preferred from air port check in perspective?
